Over the years we have been told by numerous girls and women that they wish to experience and learn the same outdoor skills that boys have been taught in organizations such as the Boys Scouts.
Jim Cornish, Registered Master Maine Guide, has been working with the Girl Scouts of Maine for a number of years.
At My Maine Adventure we believe that for women to feel self-reliant in the outdoors the most effective course is to start when they are girls and build on their skills and confidence as they grow.
